Because she is a 'Kaira,' many people thought Towela was overrated. When she arrived with “Delay” at the scene with her two brothers, Macky 2 and Chef 187, some people overlooked her as an individual and focused on her as Chef and Macky 2's younger sister. 

Those who followed Towela from when she was working as a backup vocalist for several bands, notably T Sean, thought she was the next big thing.

Even when Macky 2 claimed that Towela was the most gifted Kaira and would go where her brothers had not gone, people continued to refer to her as "The girl more famous than her Songs."

At a time when many doubted her talent, Nexus saw potential in the “Manana” hitmaker and signed her. In less than a year, singer Towela has worked tirelessly under Nexus Music to persuade people that she is someone worth following not because of her two brothers, but because of her talent. 

After a stellar year in 2021 that saw her earn a million views for her debut single “Delay” and a slew of features, there’s much more to be expected from Towela in 2022.
